Favorite Quotations
Romancing a secret love affair with words, I have collected quotations, phrases, etc. that I  find personally meaningful.  The following may or may not hold interest for anyone except myself and thus said :
First and foremost - a quote from
C.S.Lewis
found in his book, "mere Christianity".
"What can you ever know of other people's souls - of their temptations, their opportunities, their struggles?
One soul
in the whole creation you do know:  and it is the only one whose fate is placed in your hands.  If there is a God, you are, in a sense, alone with Him."
- of Rian
The next is a quote from Mother Teresa:
"Man was not meant to do great things in this world - only little things with great love."
to be continued....
"at birth our divine potential is folded up in us like a tent.  It is life's purpose to unfold that tent."

                                                                      Hildegard of Bingen
"If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you.  If you do not bring forth what is in you, what you do not bring forth will distroy you.

                                                                                Carl Jung
and another personal favorite...  "what is -- is, and I can handle it!"   - author unknown to me
